1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the services provided by Get 3D Printin’ (“we”, “us”, or “our”), including visiting our website, uploading 3D model files, or placing orders for printed products, you (“you” or “User”) agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).

Please read them carefully before using our services. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.

2. Description of Services

Get 3D Printin’ provides an online platform where users in India can:

  • Upload 3D model files in supported formats;
  • Place orders for FDM 3D printing of uploaded models;
  • Receive the printed objects delivered to their address within India.

Our service is strictly a 3D printing service. We print customer-provided files using FDM printers with PLA and PETG materials.

3. Scope of Service (Important)

Get 3D Printin’ is not a product design or engineering service.

We do not provide:

  • Product design services
  • Model redesign or correction
  • Engineering validation
  • Mechanical testing
  • Iterative design-print cycles

Customers must upload print-ready files. We print files as submitted.

If a project requires multiple design revisions or optimization for printability, a professional 3D design service should be used prior to placing an order.

4. User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have parental/legal guardian consent, to use our Services.

You also confirm that:

  • You are a resident of India;
  • You are using the Services for personal or legitimate purposes;
  • You comply with all applicable Indian laws.

5. User Accounts

Creating an account may be required to place orders.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information;
  • Maintain confidentiality of login credentials;
  • Accept responsibility for activities under your account.

6. Uploading 3D Models

You retain ownership of all 3D models you upload (“User Content”).

By uploading files, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the model solely for the purpose of printing and delivering your order.

You affirm that:

  • The design is your original work or you have permission to use it;
  • The content does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights;
  • The model does not contain illegal content under Indian law;
  • The model is technically suitable for 3D printing.

We reserve the right to reject or cancel orders that violate these requirements.

7. Accepted File Formats

We accept common 3D printable file formats, including:

  • STL
  • OBJ
  • 3MF
  • STEP
  • Other standard printable formats

File Upload Rules

  • ZIP or compressed files are NOT accepted.
  • Each model must be uploaded individually.
  • Models should ideally come from established 3D printing repositories such as:
    • Printables
    • Thingiverse
    • MakerWorld
    • Other reputable printable model platforms.

We do not process raw scans, incomplete meshes, or artistic models that are not designed for 3D printing.

8. Printability Responsibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their models are printable and structurally sound.

We do not guarantee that:

  • Models will print successfully
  • Models will function mechanically
  • Models will meet engineering expectations

If a model fails due to design flaws, unsupported geometry, or structural weakness, we are not responsible for redesigning or correcting the model.

9. Materials and Manufacturing Process

All items are manufactured using:

FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling)

Materials

  • PLA
  • PETG

FDM printing inherently produces visible layers and other minor artifacts which are normal characteristics of the manufacturing process.

10. Common 3D Printing Imperfections

FDM prints may contain minor aesthetic imperfections that do not affect the functional use of the part.

Examples include but are not limited to:

  • Visible layer lines
  • Seam marks
  • Stringing
  • Minor blobs or surface marks
  • Slight warping
  • Elephant foot (first layer expansion)
  • Support removal marks
  • Bridging artifacts
  • Minor dimensional variations
  • Texture variations
  • Small surface defects
  • Ringing or ghosting
  • Infill visibility
  • Color shade variations

These are normal characteristics of FDM printing and are not considered defects.

Refunds or replacements will not be provided for purely aesthetic imperfections.

11. Dimensional Accuracy & Tolerances

Due to variability in materials, printer calibration, and geometry:

Dimensional tolerances are not guaranteed.

Customers requiring precision fits should order small test prints first to evaluate tolerance.

Get 3D Printin’ is not responsible for parts that do not fit assemblies due to dimensional expectations.

12. Critical Applications Disclaimer

Printed parts are not guaranteed for critical or safety applications, including but not limited to:

  • Structural load-bearing parts
  • Medical applications
  • Electrical safety components
  • Automotive safety components
  • Aerospace parts
  • Mechanical safety systems

Parts are used entirely at the customer’s own risk.

13. Restricted or Declined Models

We reserve the right to refuse printing of models that fall under the following categories:

Restricted Content

  • Religious artifacts or symbols
  • Occult or ritual items
  • NSFW or explicit content
  • Illegal or offensive designs

Technical Restrictions

We may decline models that:

  • Contain extremely fine aesthetic details
  • Require excessive post-processing
  • Require complex support removal
  • Are extremely fragile
  • Are unlikely to survive shipping
  • Are primarily artistic sculptures not suitable for FDM printing

14. Order Processing and Partial Refunds

If some items in an order cannot be printed due to technical or policy reasons:

  • The affected item will be cancelled
  • A refund will be issued for that specific item
  • Remaining models in the order will proceed as normal

15. Cancellation Policy

Once an order is placed:

Orders cannot be cancelled.

Printing preparation begins shortly after confirmation.

16. Shipping and Delivery

We ship orders within India only using reliable courier partners.

Estimated delivery times may vary depending on location and external logistics factors.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address.

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Courier disruptions
  • Weather events
  • Power outages
  • External logistics delays

17. Shipping Damage Policy

We take reasonable care when packaging printed parts.

If a print arrives damaged due to shipping, we will provide:

One replacement print for the affected item.

However:

  • If the replacement print also breaks during shipping, no further replacements or refunds will be issued.

Customers should avoid uploading extremely fragile models that may not survive transport.

18. Small Print Redundancy

For very small parts, we may print additional spare copies where feasible to reduce the impact of print failures.

This is done at our discretion.

19. Refunds and Returns

Since each order is custom manufactured, refunds are generally not possible once printing has begun or completed.

Refunds may occur only when:

  • A model cannot be printed
  • An item is cancelled before printing

Once an item has been printed, refunds are not available.

For shipping damage claims:

  • Customers must contact us within 7 days of delivery
  • Photographic evidence must be provided

We may offer a reprint or partial refund at our discretion.

20. Intellectual Property

All website content—including branding, text, graphics, and software—is the property of Get 3D Printin’ and protected under Indian intellectual property laws.

User-uploaded models remain the property of the user.

21. Pricing and Payments

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include GST unless stated otherwise.

Pricing may depend on:

  • Model volume
  • Model complexity
  • Material usage
  • Shipping location

Payment must be made in full at checkout using the available online payment gateways.

Cash-on-delivery is not available.

22. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Get 3D Printin’ shall not be liable for:

  • Losses due to incorrect model design
  • Misuse of printed items
  • Dimensional inaccuracies
  • Mechanical failures
  • Courier delays or shipping issues

Our maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order.

23. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Get 3D Printin’, its employees, directors, and affiliates from any claims or damages resulting from:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Intellectual property disputes related to uploaded files
  • Misuse of printed products

24. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.

Changes will be posted on our website along with an updated effective date.

Continued use of the Services indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.

25. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our Services if users:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraudulent activity
  • Upload prohibited content
  • Abuse the platform

26. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with disputes subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Maharashtra.
